Jefferson County is dedicated to assuring that no person is excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination under any program or activity which it undertakes in carrying out its mission.

At the September 7th Commissioner meeting, ADA Coordinator Mike Pittman presented the draft ADA plan prepared by HWC engineering. The draft is available for review and public comment for two weeks. If anyone has any comments or questions, please reach out to Mike Pittman at mike.pittman@jeffersoncounty.in.gov .

If you have a complaint to file, you may use the Complaint Form that they County provides. Click here to submit the online Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Concern Form. 

Individuals are not required to use the complaint form and may submit a complaint in any format that includes the name, address and telephone number of the individual complaining and brief description of the alleged discriminatory conduct including the date of harm.
